Herndon, VA

Fairfax Water, Corbalis Plant located in Herndon, Virginia is seeking a highly motivated, Summer- Laboratory Assistant. The responsibilities includes but are not limited to providing administrative support to the Water Quality Laboratory & Compliance Manager, assisting other laboratory professionals with lab requests and water samples, and entering and manipulating data using Microsoft products and Laboratory Information Management System. The ideal candidate should possess an Environmental Science background with advance proficiency using computer software programs. The ability to follow both oral and written instructions, work independently, and manage detail tasks successfully is essential in this position. Upper-class status or highly motivated Sophomore preferred.
