Degrees - What Degrees Are Offered?
The Department of Environmental Science and Policy offers two undergraduate degrees and a host of minors (see below). The dept. also manages several concentrations in the BS in Earth Science and BS in Biology, and co-manages the BS in Global and Environmental Change.

The BS in Environmental Science degree program is offered exclusively by the ESP department. Please refer to the Advising Sheet (.doc) for more details on the degree requirements.
Environmental & Sustainability Studies, B.A.
The BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies degree program is jointly offered by the Department of Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) and the New Century College (NCC). For the current B.A. degree requirements, please refer to the GMU University Catalog and the Advising Sheet (.pdf).
The Biology undergraduate degree program is offered by the Biology Undergraduate Program. The concentrations of Environmental and Conservation Biology as well as Marine and Freshwater Biology are sponsored by the ESP department.
Earth Science, B.S. (not available for new enrollment)
The concentration of Environmental Science is sponsored by ESP, while the concentration in Coastal Oceanography and Estuarine Science is jointly sponsored by ESP and the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic & Earth Science (AOES).
Global and Environmental Change, B.S.
The GLEC degree program is jointly offered by the Department of Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) and the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science (GGS).
