ESP Graduate Student Sarah Kuppert wins Mason Science Slam Grand Slam


Congratulations are in order for ESP graduate student Sarah Kuppert who came away the winner of the first Mason Science Slam Grand Slam held last Friday at the Johnson Center.  She took home a prize of $2,000.

The ESP department is pleased to announce that graduate student Sarah Kuppert (MS program with COSP concentration) will be competing in the first ever Mason Grand Science Slam (final round) for a chance to win a $2,000 prize!  Sarah’s presentation title is Environmental DNA- detecting species with molecular methods. She will be competing against five other student researchers from different College of Science departments.

Slammers from the preliminary slam events will re-compete in the Grand Slam where the winner will take home $2000!
