PhD Candidate Katheryn Patterson selected as a 2016 Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship finalist
Congratulations to PhD candidate Katheryn Patterson, who was selected as a finalist for the 2016 class of the Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship. She has been recommended for an executive placement.
The National Sea Grant College Program (NSGCP) has selected 60 Finalists for the class of 2016 Sea Grant Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship, 12 of whom are designated as Legislative Finalists and 48 of whom are designated as Executive Finalists. Of the 60 Finalists selected, there are 43 women and 17 men who are pursuing, or will soon complete, 24 Ph.D.s, 33 Masters, and 3 J.Ds. Six of the Finalists (all executive) were nominated by Virginia Sea Grant; four from Virginia universities and two from DC universities. This represents the largest class of Virginia Sea Grant Knauss Finalists to date.
