ESP doctoral candidate presents during an educational cruise

ESP doctoral candidate Michelle Ryan gave a presentation during the annual Friends of Mason Neck State Park Eagle Cruise on the Occoquan River on Saturday, July 18, 2015.

During her presentation, Michelle spoke about her doctoral research involving the non-native freshwater snail (Bellamya spp.) found within the Potomac and Occoquan Rivers, and took questions from the Friends members while onboard the Rivershore.

Michelle also provided information to the cruise participants about the new Potomac Environmental Research and Educational Center (PEREC) facilities currently under construction.
