Thomas E. Lovejoy Library Dedication

University Professor in the ESP department Dr. Thomas Lovejoy was in attendance along with Mason President Ángel Cabrera, Mason First Lady Beth Cabrera, Provost S. David Wu, Smithsonian Mason School of Conservation (SMSC) Interim Director Cody Edwards, and Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) Director Steven Monfort on the occasion of the dedication of the Thomas E. Lovejoy Library at the SMSC campus in front Royal, VA on June 10, 2017.

The library, which is dedicated to Dr. Lovejoy, who is widely known as the “godfather” of biodiversity, contains books and papers Dr. Lovejoy has written about his extensive research and experience in the field.
