Summer 2018 Research Fellowship (Office of the Provost)

Overview

Summer Research Fellowships provide financial support to graduate students during the summer term, allowing students to devote significant time to their dissertation or thesis research. The intent of the award is to foster greater professional productivity and to assist in timely degree completion.

Summer Research Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis. Applicants must submit materials to the Office of the Provost by Friday, January 19, 2018. Recipients will be notified by Friday, February 23, 2018.

SPRING 2020 Semester (modified due to COVID-19)

MLK Day (university closed): Jan 20

First day of classes: Jan 21

Spring Break (extended): Mar 9-20

Dissertation/Thesis Deadline: May 8

Last day of classes: May 11

Reading Day(s): May 12

Final Exam Period: May 13-20

University Commencement: May 22 (tentative)
