SMSC Scholarship Application

The Department of Environmental Science and Policy at George Mason University is pleased to announce the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation Scholarship Program for the spring semester of 2018. The scholarship will provide funding to attend the undergraduate semester program at the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation (SMSC). Students are invited to apply for this $2,500 scholarship to defray tuition and program costs. This application and all supporting documents are due by 9:00am on October 10, 2017.
ELIGIBILITY
1. The scholarship is limited to students who have been accepted, or will be accepted, into the SMSC program for the semester in which the scholarship is awarded.
2. Students have to pursue a BS in Environmental Science or a BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at George Mason University.

  • Please submit contact information of two persons who will write you letters of recommendation. We highly recommend you request recommendations from people who can attest to your personal character and to your potential for academic success at SMSC.
