2018-2019 Cosmos Scholars Program

Also, the Cosmos Club Foundation announced that its 2018-2019 Cosmos Scholars Program will again provide grants to graduate students for their research programs.  The maximum grant is $5,000.  The deadline is Nov. 1, 2018.  For more information, please visit

Department of Defense (DoD) SMART Scholarship Program

The Department of Defense (DoD) SMART Scholarship Program is an opportunity for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in STEM disciplines to receive a full scholarship and be gainfully employed by the Department of Defense upon degree completion.

SMART Scholars will receive:

  • A full tuition scholarship while in school
  • An annual stipend
  • Summer research internships
  • A job after graduating in their STEM field at a cutting edge Department of Defense Facility

Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States and 18 years of age or older
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be pursuing a technical undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the 21 specified STEM disciplines

Deadline to apply is December 1, 2018.

JMD Furniture Scholarship

JMD Furniture would like to offer students a wonderful scholarship opportunity. JMD Furniture understands that college prices are always going up and wants to contribute $1000 per year to help students lower the fee for their education.

Scholarship Details:
Students are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they are a current college or university student that hasn’t reached their final year yet, or a high school senior that has already been accepted into a college or university. To apply, students will be asked to submit a 500 word essay. More details are provided at the link below.
