Hampton Roads Sanitation District Environmental Scholarship

Applications are available for the Hampton Roads Sanitation District Environmental Scholarship. One or more students will be selected to receive scholarships of up to $3,000 for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Applicants must have financial need and be full-time graduate students at a public Virginia university in one of the following fields: environmental health, environmental chemistry, biology, or civil or environmental engineering. The student must be a resident of a locality within the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) service area. This includes Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and the counties of Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, King & Queen, King William, Mathews, Middlesex and York. HRSD interns may apply. HRSD employees, commissioners and their relatives are not eligible to apply.
