Virginia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS)

The scholarships are a great opportunity for students to get some spending cash with a minimal time investment. Scholarship recipients will be announced our Annual Business Meeting on Feb 5th in Lexington, VA. 

Jenkins Undergraduate Scholarship

-Two award recipients (1st place $750, 2nd place $250)
-Open to all junior and senior undergraduate students pursuing an 4-year degree in aquatic resource management/conservation
-Application requirements completed by applicant
-Application requirements:  Letter from applicant, copy of transcripts, and one letter of recommendation from academia

Ross Graduate Scholarship
-Two award recipients (1st place $750, 2nd place $250)
-Open to all graduate students pursuing a degree in aquatic resource management/conservation
-Application requirements completed by applicant
-Application requirements:  Letter from applicant, copy of transcripts, and two letter of recommendation from academia
